Popular options include the Scarborough Bluffs Trail, offering views of Lake Ontario and the bluffs themselves, and the Gus Harris Trail in Warden Woods, a 3.2km out-and-back trail with a ravine and creek. Other notable areas for hiking include Rouge National Urban Park and Highland Creek.

Scarborough Bluffs Trail: Known for its stunning views of Lake Ontario and the bluffs, this trail offers a mostly paved or gravel path with access to beaches. 

Gus Harris Trail (Warden Woods): A 3.2km out-and-back trail through a wooded area with a ravine and creek, easily accessible from local subway stations. 

Rouge National Urban Park: This park offers a variety of trails, including the Vista Trail and Mast Trail, which can be combined for a longer hike. 

Highland Creek: Trails along Highland Creek provide scenic views and opportunities for both walking and biking. 

Bluffer's Park to Guild Park and Gardens: This trail offers a mix of beaches and cliffs, with a compacted dirt path inland from the shore. 

Doris McCarthy Trail: This trail offers beautiful water views and wildlife sightings. 

Highland Creek and Waterfront Loop: A mostly paved path through wilderness and along Lake Ontario.
